Several serious pistols I should have mentioned:
RIA (Rock Island Armory) STK150. G17-like, this pistol runs $475.00/copy. RIA enjoys a solid reputation
Canik METE ML9LS FDE. A Turkish-made G19. Canik also enjoys an excellent reputation. $500.00/copy
Tisas PX9. Size and shape of a SIG228, but set-up like a Glock (takes 228 magazines). $350.00/copy. Another Turkish-made pistol. We’ve had these in Classes. No complaints!
All these pistols come with solid warrantees, as good as any in the industry. Canik even supplies a very nice kydex holster, included with each pistol!
As I’ve said many times, you can’t go wrong with Glock. Glock is ever the “gold standard” for serious pistols, but there are others, some a good deal less expensive, that are also very acceptable, and I can recommend them.
Holosun’s 724 AEMS Macro pistol optic (closed emitter) is very similar to Aimpoint’s COA, but retails for $400.00.
Their ARO rifle optic, at $200.00/copy, is very similar to Aimpoint’s H2
I love my Aimpoints, but Holosun’s reputation is also excellent!
The NRA Show has always been worth attending, and I recommend it to all fellow NRA members.
Our NRA has had recent speed-bumps, no doubt, but it is in the interest of all of us that the organization prospers and continues to grow in membership, reputation, strength, and influence.
