“Give me some men, who are stout-hearted men
Who will fight for the right they adore.
Start me with ten, who are stout-hearted men,
And I’ll soon give you ten thousand more.
Shoulder to shoulder, and bolder and bolder
We grow as we go to the fore.
Then, there’s nothing in the world can halt nor mar our plan
When stout-hearted men can stick together, man to man.”
“Stout-Hearted Men,” from “The New Moon,” written by Sigmund Romberg and Oscar Hammerstein in 1925. Most memorable performance was Nelson Eddy’s from 1940”
Modern Definition of “Hero:”
Today’s general officers have mostly been appointed by leftist ideologues. Since conservatives want only to get out and train and inspire their men to win wars, and thus don’t like politics, they are typically passed-over in favor of slick-talking, non-boat-rocking, swivel-chair-occupying posers.
Thus, bewildered, helpless, pathetically dependant, defenseless, disarmed, hapless victims of massacres are now called “heroes.”
Conversely, majestic and continuously armed, courageous, self-reliant, dashing, audacious Operators, who are not about to go down without a fight, and called “problems!”
Today, the former can look forward to uninterrupted promotion, assuming they live long enough. The latter can look forward to being shown the door.
We currently have, within our “unarmed services,” many dedicated, rock-solid people, who have gallantly volunteered to defend this nation. Sadly, they are under the domination of desultory leftists, who have no ethics, no morals, and who cravenly despise those of us who do!
Leftists are never comfortable among honorable people, and thus desperately want us all forcibly, continuously disarmed.
They care about little else.
