Of the unfolding Afghanistan disaster, our Secretary of Defense said yesterday:
“We don’t have the capability to go out and collect large numbers of people.”
He carefully avoids use of the arrant verb, “rescue.” He substitutes with “collect,” as if this were all some form of recreation!
And, he won’t get specific by using the term, “abandoned Americans”
Instead, he says “large numbers of people”
These “weasel words” and phrases reveals the true character of this arch-typical political stooge.
He, along with the balance of the JRB Administration, thus do not inspire confidence!
Our friends and allies around the world are very nervous right now, and should be!
We should be too!
