Yesterday at a bus-stop in Jerusalem, without warning two Palestinian terrorists shot into a crowd of innocent commuters, murdering at least six and wounding at least twice that number.
Precipitous terrorist incidents like this in Israel are hardly unusual, much less unprecedented, but a curious aspect to this event is that an Israeli soldier (unclear if he was in uniform or not), with the aid of at least one armed Israeli citizen (non-police, non-military), who happened to be at the scene, immediately and effectively returned fire, instantly killing both terrorists on the spot!
Had that soldier and his armed-citizen confederates not been armed, alert, and had not reacted so unhesitatingly and with such precision, the death-toll of innocents would have surely been much higher.
Over here of course, members of our “unarmed forces” could never have been such heroes, since DOD (even under the DJT Administration) is still so afraid of guns that its members are never armed, even when on-base and on-watch, even in fact when operating in areas of active hostility, much less when off-watch in the domestic domain.
A few American citizens do routinely go armed, but Democrat mayors and governors have arbitrarily manufactured so many “no guns allowed zones” (like bus-stops), that legally going armed is nearly impossible for most citizens. That is of course, their cynical intent!
So, when a similar terrorist attack occurs over here, there will likely be no such capable rescuers around. When there are soldiers present, they’ll be unarmed and thus pathetically gunned-down along with the rest of the unarmed victims. In fact, there is a better-than-even chance that even off-watch police officers at the scene will also be unarmed, by choice!
With our world so unstable right now, it is indeed amazing that many Americans are still naive, unaware, unalert, and so utterly defenseless.
