The State of NY would do well to listen to its own advice!
NYPD has announced that a suspect has just been arrested for the high-profile sexual battery (Monday of this week, in the middle of the day) of a female sunbather in NYC’s infamous Central Park.
To the surprise of no one, this suspect was wanted on an open bench-warrant for an earlier sexual assault in March of this year and had just been arrested for a separate sexual battery last Friday, but had been immediately released!
In fact, this suspect has a “long list of prior sex-crimes,” including eight other incidents in NYC alone, plus others in NJ, FL, and MD. He lives in a “men’s shelter” in NYC, and his location and history were well-known to police.
He is currently locked-up (yet again), but for how long?
Meanwhile, NYC’s Mayor and NY’s Governor have responded by promising to install yet more CCTV cameras (that no one will be monitoring) in Central Park.
In the same breath, they’ve cynically declared Central Park “safe”
In the Book of Genesis we read that God has the power to make things happen by merely saying the words, as in “Let there be light!”
Over the ages, petty, self-important kings, potentates (and now politicians), piously declaring themselves to be god-like, have arrogantly assumed that they have the same power, apparently conferred upon them from on-high.
Thus spending way too much time reading their own press-releases, they assure us that by merely declaring a place “safe,” they magically make it so!
The media may purport to believe such rubbish, but the sage know better.
Cemeteries are filled with the naive, who sincerely believed they were in a “safe place,” simply because some politician, cautiously peering-out from between his cadre of heavily-armed bodyguards, said so!
And, in case you’re wondering if there is a point lurking in all this:
When making important decisions with regard to your own personal safety, be careful about what you decide to believe.
Rely upon facts, not “feelings,” and not on agenda-driven propaganda, endlessly promulgated by the leftist media.
Remember, the media has been sanctimoniously assuring us that JRB is “fit as a fiddle” for three years. They knew the truth, but mendaciously chose to lie to us instead.
They are a disgrace to our civilization, and to their profession!
Of course, they’re too arrogant to repent, so never glibly bet your life and future on anything they, and leftist politicians they ever apologize for, try to tell you!
