Ammunition situation:

This is from a friend in the commercial, high-performance ammunition manufacturing business:

“The ammunition buying frenzy, that started over the summer, has completely overwhelmed our production capacity. We’re making product as fast as we can, but we can’t begin to keep up with demand!

All ammunition manufacturers are in the same boat, and we’re all at the mercy of our vendors. Primers, cases, bullets, and propellant, particularly propellant, are all in short supply. I spend most of my day on the phone, alternately consoling customers and haranguing vendors!

Ammunition supplies are going to get even thinner in coming months due to an extremely unstable political climate around the world, and I don’t think the outcome of our national elections in a few days will make much difference!

We are working hard to keep up, but it looks as if this time around, the buying frenzy will continue and be something like we have never seen in the past!”

Comment: When you don’t have good supplies of ammunition, starting now is likely to be an exercise in futility and frustration!

We’ll see widespread rioting the wake of next week’s national election! Metro areas will be good places to stay out of!

It’s the same, old story:

The sage among us are prepared, and go armed. Clueless sheep will be fleeced/slaughtered!
