Mingle Event!
Vicki and I just attended the 10th Annual Mingle Event at the Cohutta Pines Outdoor Range Complex in Cisco, GA (near Dalton, GA), hosted by Shelly and Brian Hill.
Seventy women attended a number of wonderful Classes, including Vicki’s.

H&K was one of the sponsors, and attendees had the opportunity to life-fire the full line-up of H&K’s pistols.
The VP9 is H&K’s current polymer-framed, striker-fired flagship service pistol, and it enjoys a very good reputation, like everything else H&K makes.
However, for concealed carry I shot and really like H&K’s compact “CC9″ and “VP9CC” variations. But, there is some confusion!
The VP9CC is the “made-in-Germany” compact version of H&K’s VP9. The CC9 is H&K’s American-made (in GA) version of essentially the same thing.
Both are identical in outside dimensions. Both are thirteen-shooters (twelve plus one). Both are flat, adroit and designed for concealed carry.
The only real difference is that the VP9CC retains H&K’s signature ambidextrous magazine-release lever, while the CC9 features a 1911-style magazine-release button (also ambidextrous) that most American Operators prefer.
Like Shadow Systems’ CR920, SIG’s 365, SA’s Hellcat, Glock’s 43X, Canik’s TP9, FN’s Reflex, and a number of others, H&K’s CC9 appeals to a growing number of Americans who carry regularly and are looking for something a little flatter and more compact than the ubiquitous G19 that we all otherwise love!
