âA fact never went into partnership with a âmiracle.â Truth scorns the assistance of wonders. A fact will fit every other fact in the universe… A lie will not fit anything except another lie.â
Robert Green Ingersoll
How do you do? The truth actually rears its ugly head!
What has heretofore been discussed only in whispers, particularly in city hall, has now broken through to see the light of day!
Detroitâs Police Chief said, in public, that the recent terrorist attack in Paris would likely not happen in Detroit, because legally-armed Detroiters would shoot back!
Washington DCâs Police Chief recently said something very similar, indicating citizens, particularly armed ones, need to act decisively during a terrorist attack.
Whatâs this?
For decades weâre been told by these same people that our sacred duty as a citizen is to be a frightened, helpless, unprepared, indecisive sheep, who never take unilateral action, but always wait patiently for the government to âtake care of me.â
The anti-gun crowd has always chimed-in, adding in so many words:
âYouâre too stupid to own guns. You might hurt yourself. Only us elite in the âgoverning classâ should have to right to be armed. After all, our lives are important. You miserable peons are expendable!â
Baltimoreâs vocally anti-gun police chief has been fired. Apparently, he wasnât anti-gun enough!
Today, the same fate has befallen Chicago PDâs extremely anti-gun chief, who faithfully mouthed the anti-gun party line at every opportunity.
Whatâs going on?
For years, those of us on our side of the ledger have been saying that armed citizens represent the best, and only real, deterrent to terrorism and other violent crime. More guns in private hands always leads to less crime. But, our words, â…like silent raindrops, fellâ
The media, who hates our guts, simply hands the microphone to every gun-hating liberal they can find, but never to an articulate spokesman for our side.
Now suddenly, even police chiefs have the courage to mouth the obvious truth!
âIn a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary actâ
George Orwell, from â1984″
