“Of all tyrannies, one sincerely exercised for the ‘good’ of its victims is most oppressive. It is better to live under robber-barons than under omnipotent, pseudo-moral busybodies.”

CS Lewis

Manufacturing “Victims”

There is substantial political value in “victimization,” and liberals know it!

When people don’t voluntarily become victims, liberals, elected and appointed, are right there to create a new “victim class,” via official policy.

Who think of themselves as “victims” have no chance for a successful and rewarding life. The self-imposed “victim” label is permanent and is invariably characterized by an unchangeable, unproductive, exanimate, and short existence. Self-labeled “victims” are condemned to a miserable tenure of interminable excuse-making, avoidance of opportunity, and self-pity.

Democrats long-ago decided that a national strategy of manufacturing victims, and ever-expanding the “victim-class,” would keep them in power, forever.

Example:

“Artpark,” (located in Lewiston, NY and under the control of NYS Parks & Recreation) enforces the NYS Parks ban on all weapons, even when carried by off-duty LEOs. Artpark hosts open-air concerts. Off-duty cops would like to attend these concerts, armed, in case of a terrorist or active shooter.

Parks officials say “No.”

In fact, NYS Parks won’t even allow anyone (licensed or not, including off-duty LEOs) to carry any kind of gun in areas that are wild and remote.

Hiking in bear country? Lone female hiking and camping alone? NYS Parks says “No weapons of any kind”

Who don’t want to be victims, or audaciously refuse to be victims, are thus considered “enemies of the state” in liberal-dominated NYS. Fighting, in any form, is unthinkable and always “immoral!”

Non-victims thus have no access to the plethora of governmental largesse. Liberals will shower you with “benefits,” but only when you voluntarily enter “victim status,” and then promise stay there, always with your hand out, irreversibly exchanging your personal dignity and individual magnificence for a pitiable dole!

The audacious, self-sufficient, enterprising, and armed need not apply. Far from being thanked, they are ever denigrated and violently hated for, among other things, failing to pay their “fair share.”

“Until one is personally invested, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all initiative and creation, there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless grand ideas and splendid plans:

The moment one irreversibly commits himself, Providence turns!

Helpful things come to pass, that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of incidents, meetings, and material assistance, which no one could have dreamed would have come his way.

Whatever you do, or dare, begin it. In audacity there is genius, power and magic!”
