“Imagine,” re-imagined!

John Lennon was one of four that made-up the original British Beatles singing group, who were together and popular from 1960-70. Lennon and the rest pursued individual singing/entertainment careers after the group broke up.

Lennon was an unapologetic Marxist. Like all Marxists, he was an amoral sleaz, who left behind an endless trail of human wreckage.

John Lennon’s “Imagine,” was released in 1971. Re-released versions have come along since, sung by Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Joan Baez, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Diana Ross, et al.

Lennon was murdered in NYC in 1980. He was forty.

Below is a realistic description, sent to me by friends in NYC, of the “Communist Utopia,” embraced by Lennon, and current Hollywood leftists, who naively think socialism/Communism is “cool!”

“Imagine there’s no bread

It’s easy if you try

No tacos, nor hot sauce,

Nothing cold, nothing fried,

Imagine all the people living in gulags

Imagine there’s no money

It isn’t hard to do

Nothing to eat, nor drink

And no bacon too

Imagine all the people living short life-spans, ooooh

You may say I’m a Commie

But I’m not the only one

And someday you will join us

Or, we’ll shoot you in the face!

Imagine no possessions

Because all your stuff’s been ‘redistributed’

Lots of greed and hunger

A ‘Brotherhood of Man!’

Imagine all the people picking-through your stuff, yeah

You may say I’m a Commie

But I’m not the only one

Did you say you don’t like that?

Then it’s a gulag for you, son”

The above description is, if anything, watered down!
