Bear-attacks, and other homicides!
The term “Gaslighting” has been coined to describe ongoing pathological abuse of a person (or an entire population), by leftists and leftist governments, perniciously intended to deceive victim(s) into suspending reality and questioning the validity of their own perception.
Example:
The NY Game Commission, without fail, describes all bear attacks upon citizens as “abnormal,” “rare,” “unusual,” ad nauseam.
One can use the identical reasoning to say that conventional homicide, perpetrated by human predators (AKA: “murder”), is also “rare” and “abnormal”
Yet, we all know and understand that murders occur, every day!
When the act of murder begins to unfold, the criminal (human or animal) must be incisively stopped before the act can be completed, if the intended victim is to live through the ordeal. The murderer needs to be definitively dissuaded or physically disabled instantaneously, and prior to his successfully carrying-out the homicide.
In NY, one may not legally carry an otherwise legally licensed handgun within a State Park. Curious that NYS officials are so certain that you’re not going to be attacked by a bear (nor a human murderer) while you’re within the confines of a NY State Park, they’ve made it illegal for you to carry your handgun there.
And, when homicides do occur within NY State Parks (which happens with monotonous regularity), officials can be counted upon to glibly reiterate that such attacks are “rare,” and then promptly drop the subject and turn their attention to unrelated bureaucratic duties.
In fact, leftists can always be counted upon to piously (and oh so self-righteously) proclaim that real events that we clearly see- didn’t really happen and violent crime doesn’t actually exist
… solely because they say so
… and you better not dispute it, if you know what’s good for you!
The foregoing is “Gaslighting,” defined, and Democrats (along with other totalitarian/socialists worldwide) can be depended upon to enthusiastically embrace it.
Expect it.
Don’t become a victim of it!
