On Europe’s “future,” from a connected friend in the UK:

“Europe stands naked in the face of the current ISIS onslaught. Your summary is precisely right.

Like you, I fundamentally understand insurgency warfare and especially the nature of this brutal death-cult, and will not underestimate the cunning of these vicious criminals.

I have had exposure to Islamic environs in Sudan and Israel. They are ruthless masters of deception. They murder without compunction, always followed by the words, “God is great!” Murdering is simply religious procedure for them, as is rape, theft, and wanton destruction.

They are without conscience as we know it.

They are altering the face of Europe forever. Border are still porous. Military weapons are ‘illegal,’ but easily smuggled in. Our west coast has been, and continues to be, a smugglers’ paradise.

Honest and productive European civilians are, by design, utterly defenseless and will have to be protected by well-trained, well-armed security forces. But, adequate numbers simply do not exist!

The sheer strength of naive pacifism in our society, and yours, will be finally overcome only via non-stop massacres. In the interim, ISIS will cynically manipulate exaggerated western humanitarian values. Many naive liberals still believe murderous ISIS fighters will sit down at a table, covered with a white tablecloth and decked out with cut glass water decanters, and discuss peace terms, in good faith.

I remember how Catholic nuns in the Belgian Congo, on their knees in dusty streets praying for peace, were all promptly beaten senseless, stripped naked, raped and then hideously mutilated with knives.

Lucky ones died right away!

Civilian populations (particularly in urban areas), over here and in your country, are neither prepared emotionally, trained in any way, nor equipped to defend themselves. We are defenseless, mostly by choice.”

Comment:

“We shall defend our Island, whatever the cost. We shall fight on the beaches; we shall fight on the landing grounds; we shall fight in the fields and in the streets; we shall fight in the hills.

We will never surrender.”

Winston Churchill, back in the days when Western Civilization actually had some semblance of national pride, and bona-fide, war-winning leadership.

Nothing even close today!
