Same Old Story!
Last Monday, a woman who worked the 11:00pm-7:00am shift at an all-night convenience store in OK was attacked by a robbery suspect who physically seized and tried to choke her.
She responded by shooting him (once, at contact range) with her own pistol. He reacted by quickly jumping-off of her and fleeing.
The clerk suffered only minor injuries.
To no one’s surprise, this robbery suspect has a long, dreary rap-sheet. He was hospitalized, but is expected to live through it.
Of course, if this had happened in NY, the woman would have been charged with “attempered murder,” or some other BS “violation,” just to “send a message” to citizens (particularly gun-owners) that they better meekly submit to criminal violence, rather than harm one of the violent criminals Democrats support, encourage, and apologize for (but who vote for them). Simultaneously, the liberal/leftist media would be running tear-jerking stories about this violent criminal’s “unhappy childhood,” ad nauseam.
Fortunately, this happened in OK, and criminal charges have been rightly leveled against the actual violent criminal, not the innocent, armed victim!
Not surprisingly, the innocent victim in this case, who appropriately and courageously fought for her very life, was rewarded by being immediately fired by her employer’s “upper management,” because dead clerks have only a mild impact on the corporation’s bottom line (after all, they’re all insured). Dead criminals, on the other hand, can be expensive! And of course, among typically woke upper-management, the last thing anyone ever worries about is common decency and righteousness.
We are all reminded:
>”Security” is mostly naive superstition.
>Go armed. When any activity is severely criticized, discouraged, and denigrated by politicians, the media, corporate “upper management,” and elitists in general, it’s probably a pretty good idea!
>Don’t expect to be thanked. Do expect to be fired, criticized, second-guessed, and picked-apart by this same gallery of smug elitists (peering-out from between their own heavily-armed bodyguards)
>Do expect subsequent emotional trauma (nightmares are “standard equipment”) and expensive litigation, maybe criminal, likely civil. In this country, we have “the best justice money can buy,” and you’ll pay retail for what little you may actually experience.
>You won’t “get over it,” but you will “get past it,” and, you’ll be alive to worry about it. For one, I don’t consider being dead a “viable alterative!”
>Get used to the cheerless fact that “nobody cares.” You’re on your own!
