On Monday, Portland, OR’s Chief of Police cynically sobbed during a public press interview.
However his tears were shed, not for his beleaguered citizens who are suffering from the wave of violent crime ravaging his city, caused by vicious TdA gang members who have been illegally imported from Venezuela by the JRB Administration, and continue to enjoy the welcome extended to them by Democrat politicians, including the mayor, governor, and this chief
Nor were his tears in sympathy for our courageous ICE Agents who are there doing their best to get these barbarous illegal-alien criminals out of our county.
No, he is shedding tears for the criminals themselves, this “protected class” of illegal-alien criminal, protected by Marxist politicians (including this chief) in a cynical effort to solicit their (illegal) votes and their assistance in punishing good and decent citizens (who don’t vote for leftists)!
As noted, conspicuously absent from this briefing is the slightest concern for public safety, nor for the safety of our federal officers who are enforcing the law, as they are sworn to do.
When public officials, like this chief of police, routinely regurgitate weary Marxist rhetoric, and seek to appease bad actors (like illegally-imported Venezuelan street gangs), prudent citizens should be alarmed!
Portland’s good, decent, and legal citizens will be in for a rough litigatious battle when forced to employ lethal force when defending themselves and their families against TdA gang members when these gangs break-into homes.
When this happens, this chief will predictably apologize profusely to foreign gang members, while excoriating innocent, armed, legal citizens for having the audacity to not want to be victims.
Do you recall BHO’s “special prosecutor” shamefully stating at the beginning of George Zimmerman’s criminal trial in FL that she was there to ”get justice for Trayvon?”
