“Who never doubted, never half-believed.
Where doubt, there truth is- ’tis her shadow.”

I just got off the phone with Pete Pi at Defiant Ammunition.
Pistol ammunition sales, particularly for “serious” carry-loads, are very slow right now, throughout the industry!
I can personally testify that training/consulting is also slow, and my friends and colleagues in this business readily concur.
Gun retailers are telling me that gun and ammunition sales are very slow too.
Simultaneously, Las Vegas casinos are empty. They whole town is currently vacuous of the usual throng of tourists.
Prices are up, and it seems people right now are reluctant to spend money, and they are apparently not as worried about violent crime, and impending anti-gun legislation, as during the previous Administration.
Specifically, demand for 9mm 115/124gr +p TCX, 380 Auto 80gr TCX, 357Mg, 38Spl is wobbly but still there, and 10mm, while trailing behind, still enjoys some standing. Significantly less demand for 45ACP, and no demand at all for 40S&W, 357Sig, 30SC.

Loading schedules must be adjusted accordingly, and predicting what constitutes “adequate inventories” is difficult indeed, far more challenging than in the past.
The DJT Administration is turning on their heads all kinds of pompous/grandiloquent buffoons, as well as bloated/entrenched institutions, bureaucracies, agendas, expectations. As a result, people at all levels are bewildered, unsettled, anxious, unsure of what’s next, and I believe that is what is driving the current conservative trend in spending habits.
Of course, this can altogether change tomorrow morning!
Lacking the gift of prophesy, I won’t be predicting the future. Suffice it to say that continuous personal preparedness, at all levels, is still well-advised.
Listening to all sources of information, with a high degree of cynicism, is also well advised!

One represents danger
The other, opportunity!”
