How much civility we’ve lost since 2020 when the George Floyd/Defund-the-Police Movement was oh-so enthusiastically, unconditionally embraced by Democrats, and how much thinner is the “veneer” of civil order now.
“Street take-overs” are daily occurrences in our leftist-controlled metro areas. Reminiscent of what is currently going on in Haiti, criminal gangs brazenly “take-over an area” and then dare “civil authority” to do anything about it.
Simultaneously, we’re told we can’t own weapons that place us on equal footing with what criminal gangs are carrying, but politicians can. Politicians have made of themselves a “special class of citizens” who are personally exempt from the very laws they so casually inflict upon the rest of us (always “for our own good,” of course)
“Rules for thee, but not for me?”
Without fail, our media obediently beats the leftist drum. Never any mention of privately-owned guns, in the hands of courageous armed citizens and valiantly used to confront and deter armed terrorists, as was the case in Twin Falls, ID last Saturday. There is an absolute rule within the media that privately-owned guns are never to be commented-upon in a positive manner, and they all enduringly adhere to it!
In fact, the only “gun violence” Democrat/Communists, and their media stooges, are ever upset about is when it’s directed at violent criminals! Conversely, it’s only “bad” when employed by good and decent citizens, as well as heroic police officers, gallantly defending themselves, their families, and other innocents.
Then, we hear from these same leftist politicians that they are doing their best to make us all “feel safer.” With them, it’s exclusively about “feelings,” never about reality, and never about aggressively arresting and prosecuting dangerous criminals, and keeping them locked-up, so they can’t harm the rest of us.
Leftists/Communists destabilize. It’s their “core platform.” It’s all they know how to do, and they pursue destabilization with barbarous passion, ever promoting chaos, lawlessness, and squalor, as we see!
We can look forward to more of this as we approach the “midterm season”
And, while underestimating the incompetence, insincerely, and degeneracy of politicians is always ill-advised, as noted above, we are still free to unilaterally enhance our own personal competence and readiness, since as we’re seeing, we’re the only ones we can really count on.
