This experience, from a friend in the NW:
“I visited our State Military HQ yesterday in order to have my wife’s ‘dependent’ ID card renewed.
I encountered a lone and unarmed contractor/guard at the front gate. He was courteous and polite, but had never heard of ISIS and had no idea what ISIS was!
At the reception desk was another lone and unarmed contractor. He had never heard of ISIS either!
Uniformed personnel inside were snappy-looking and also courteous. However, none were armed. No pistols. No rifles. Anywhere!
During an hour spent looking around, I saw not a single M4, nor M9, in any condition!
Our proud Guardsmen are not just casually unarmed. They have been deliberately disarmed, including officers and staff NCOs.
They are thus prevented from defending, in any effective way, their headquarters, their fellow guardsmen, citizens of the State, and themselves.
After all the attacks on military bases, nothing has changed!
BHO-era generals are afraid of guns and deathly afraid of their own troops. However, in all fairness, GWB was not much better!
