From a friend in the Federal System:

“We had a Glock 19 damaged at the range yesterday. It was a nearly new gun. The agent loaded a full magazine of Russian-made ‘Wolf’ ammunition. The very first round peeled the Glock open. The chamber split along the top. The extractor blew out. The magazine release button blew out. The frame cracked near the magazine release.

The shooter was startled but uninjured. The gun is history except for the slide.”

Note: It is very unusual for any 9mm pistol to blow up. Most of the recent blowups have been with pistols chambered for 40S&W and 357SIG.
